From Tabula Rasa to Universal Knowledge

45 From tabula rasa to universal knowledge.JPG

When we are born, we enter the world in total innocence, with our minds resembling a white paper lacking any impression. Through the eye, the innocence is a dove looking at life as a journey that it is ready to explore.

The couple of predator birds, representing Genetic Inheritance and Life Experience, attacks the innocence. On the other hand, in exchange for devouring it, they leave behind perspective and knowledge of the surrounding world.

The completion of the metamorphosis converts the innocence shown as a white paper (i.e. the "Tabula Rasa") to a space without limit, where the apple of wisdom and the pen of expression is located.

Ink drops leaving the pen fall in the waters of infinity, where there are no limits to the scope of the imagination of lost innocence.

The eye of innocence, the two predators, and the apple with the pen, are in the end of course merely different views of one inevitable evolution.
